Provider/Contract Holder. Qualified from University of Liverpool, School of Dental Surgery, June 1987.
Began working in general practice with Dr Mike Williams at Dental Department, Castner Kellner Works, ICI and a small part time evening surgery at Manor Farm.
Over the years developed the evening surgery into a full time dental practice until we outgrew our premises and moved in 2000 to our current location.
During the years Dr Tildsley has lectured to the profession on clinical governance, sat on the PCT’s Clinical Governance Committee and has been a honorary part time lecturer at University of Liverpool.
Dr Tildsley has been a vocational trainer over several years and has participated in the Outreach Program helping to train the future generation of dental students.
He has a keen interest in endodontics (root filling teeth) and was an instigator of the PDS (Primary Dental Services) pilot in Halton and was requested by the Department of Health to provide television interviews.
Following the imposed change from the PDS contract he has become a Denplan dentist in order to continue to provide high quality, preventative and patient centred dentistry.
